We are proud silver sponsors of the the Benny Wills Brain Tumour Research Program
The program commenced in late 2010 following the success of the inaugural fundraising event in September 2010 and is run through Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick.
The Benny Wills Brain Tumour Research Program was established in memory of Benny, who lost his twelve month battle with an inoperable brain stem tumour on Friday 11 September 2009.
When the wonderful parents of Benny set out to honour their son by raising money for brain tumour research, they had no idea that not only would Sydney Children’s Hospital commence a program researching outcomes for brain stem tumours, but that they would also name the program after Benny.
Losing a child is something no parent should ever have to go through and our motivation in raising funds to support this program was and continues to be the hope that we can save other children from losing their lives to this terrible disease.
